Creating Your Action Button

The last blog covered making plans about wanting to get things done but not doing anything.  It addressed the common problem of getting stuck before you’ve even begun to work toward goals, projects and ideas.

Sometimes we’re thinking about the end game (project, goal, idea) which seems big and complicated.  Other times we revert to overwhelm where there are too many things to get done.  You’ll know this is happening when you wake up in the morning, think about the day ahead and want to pull the covers over your head hitting the snooze button.  Here… Continue reading

New Year – Plan w/ No Action Button

This month is devoted to getting things done – strategies to move forward.  It’s a new year and most likely you have plans to “do” many things this year.

Take a moment.  When someone is using a completely different style of communication I can emotionally react to that style. … Continue reading

Other encounters of a strange kind!

During the holiday season we can encounter some pretty difficult people.  Some of these people we know and work with on a regular basis.  Most employees are juggling extra duties during the holidays – you may be short staffed, due to folks taking their last “use it or lose it” vacation times.  Add to that, shopping, cooking, coordinating children’s activities, decorating, long lines, crowded conditions and traffic.  Is it any wonder people are difficult?  Here are some tips to help you.
