Being Present
There is one tip that I can give you which will help you achieve the strongest relationships. Be fully present when communicating with someone – in person, on the phone, texting, email or Skype. Give that person your full and undivided attention during your communication. You might think you already do that or that you can “multi-task” during your conversation. It’s not fair!
My husband and I have had the opportunity to play golf around the world. For the amount of time and money that we have spent, we should be much better. Golf courses are in beautiful places and walking 18 holes is great exercise – like walking in a lovely park. I’ve learned a lot about myself and lessons that apply to business.
